Gosh! Asian Bistro & Sushi

Found this place online while trying to find some sushi in Lakeland. Food was amazing, I really wasn't sure what to expect but I'm very pleased with what we all got. The staff was amazing , they take reservations which is greatly appreciated, and the inside is so much bigger than I thought it was. Food came out hot, and all the tempura options were perfect as we had a diverse crowd with different tastes.

I went here on Sunday around 4ish with my boyfriend for an early dinner after donating plasma. We got crab rangoons, they were good for only $5ish. We got the Florida roll, Alaskan roll, and Kamikaze Eel hand roll. We waited 50 minutes just for that, and the sushi was ok, was disappointed because it wasn’t even cut properly and wouldn’t stay together when you picked it up with the chop sticks. I also had to wait 15 minutes to get a refill. It was ok for once but we won’t be back.

UPDATE: I am happy to say one of the owners, Mindy reached out to me and we had a great conversation and rectified all the issues from my previous one star post. Today I got to talk to both of the owners and the chef in person. It all came down to a miscommunication about my previous order and we now fixed it so we are on the same page for all future orders. I am happy to say my favorite place to go is now STILL my favorite place to eat. We ordered our food and it was PERFECT! Thank you Gosh. See you soon!

I usually get delivery from this restaurant, so this was my first time as a dine in restaurant customer. It was a Saturday night and the place was completely empty but a large party had just left. Another party came in after us and there was steady pick up orders. The service was great. Our waitress was nice and helpful. The women’s bathroom may have a plumbing problem because the main door was propped open and it smelled unpleasant BUT the restroom was very clean. The entire restaurant was very clean. The sweet tea was honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. Very fresh and sweet. I also tried some plum wine and it was spectacular. I personally got the volcano roll. Let me say without a shadow of a doubt GOSH has the BEST sushi I’ve ever had. The presentation was beautiful and the roll was huge. Very fresh tasting, it was perfect. After dinner my sister ordered the tempura cheesecake. I tried some and it was very good. Personally I wouldn’t add sprinkles to it (kills the overall presentation) but it didn’t hinder the taste. I would STRONGLY suggest anyone who loves sushi to try GOSH. You won’t be disappointed! **The do offer other things aside from sushi

I had reservations with my wife and kids and it was tremendous. We walked in and the inside was beautiful and well kept.We were greeted by a young lady named Amber. She was very nice, really patient and an awesome server. The food was delicious came out perfect and we all loved it.I would 100% recommend . 10/10 we will all back to see Amber and have some more sushi :)
